Might not be too bad with a dehumidifyer.

 

As long as you put it on heavy enough and prep properly. It won't come off until you want it to, and when it does, it can come off all in one peice

 

I'll go ahead and pull it off. Hopefully it's not too bad. Part of it wanted to come off with the tape in the two little triangles next to the headlights.

 

Some plasti- dip is textured.. I accidentally bought the textured stuff once and realized it after spraying the entire grill

 

I don't see anything on the can that indicates one or the other. I've used black on different things and everything came out smooth. I bought the cans at the same time and they look identical. I don't know.

 

The cap would be textured not smooth, I'm betting you bought the correct one

WD40 and Goo gone also help to remove it. I un-dipped an entire hood in an hour with that stuff.

Be sure to pull your tape while the derp is still a little wet. I've also run a razor blade lightly along the tape which worked very well. Especially for small jobs like yours. I would also suggest rubbing lightly with Acetone to remove the lettering rather than derp.
