On this one threaded rod gets threaded into a steel barrel in the post, barrel is held in with a steel pin. Holes in the concrete get filled with epoxy and the rod goes in before it sets up. The intermediate posts have a lag in the bottom, same deal with epoxy. All post bottoms have a spacer so the end grain isn't directly on the concrete.

Made this table for a doctor friend last winter. The table is worth $4000.

Thanks. Assume you fab'd that part up yourself? Either way, them legs look good on that table. I always struggle with ideas on legs when I'm going about a project.

I design and produce a drawing which I email to weld shop. (My farmer buddy who has weld shop in old pig barn) pcs are taken to paint shop for powder coat. It was a bronze sandtex coat. I have a guy in Toronto who has a 52" planner but that slab was 60" so I ended up just sanding flat with floor sander. Another buddy is an arborist and has several large black walnut logs slit into 2 1/2" slabs.

I am very disappointed in the GF. For someone with the amount of degree's she has, I find it inexcusable to be unfamiliar with Medieval Siege Engines.
