Since it's gonna be hot af this weekend and kayaking looks to be a no go, I may go out there. Hate to wheel alone, but I'm pretty confident I can handle up the medium stuff

The "skinny" I've heard about the place (from my nephew who does sxs's) is that the place is VERY tight for full size vehicles. Pay particular attention to that.

He called it "dirt bike trails".

I'm actually hoping he was wrong. We need other options in this end of the state.

There are plenty of people who take full size trucks out there. I'm sure the trails are marked as such.

Owner said he can make us a route of all levels of trails and ride all day.

At 5 hours away it's a bit of a drive, but I have a hard time saying no to strangers in the woods... put me down as a maybe.

What is the closest town (with gas stations/stores/maybe even auto parts store)?

Make this work.....Keep in mind this is year 1 of what could be an annual event. It'll grow as it goes!

First year of Black Mountain Fall Meet was 3 of us.

We're closing in on 50 for year 3. The Kentucky Tacoma scene is growing with a vengence.

It would be mighty damn impressive if we could have a calendar full of group meets.

Season finale could be "The Tank Trap" in Waddy Kentucky

    I want this to work!

I think the owner wants it more. Everyone and their brother drives a jacked up, dressed up, 4x4 rig and they never see more than granny's gravel driveway. This needs to change!

This can give us nearly a full year of meets just in our surrounding states too
