There might be a better ways to transport a camper shell.

Anyone around sac know how to change the transmission fluid? My truck is making a rpm whining noise. Think it's the trans but I'm a bit disabled at the moment. I might just take it in..

 

That's bad ass! I've always wanted a cut away oil pan. With one line that you can see how it really works!!!

 

Easier way to check the valve clearance. But to each their own.

Not specifically on 2nd gen Tacoma, but as long as its a similar procedure to a trans service on the ferds I work on, I volunteer as tribute!

Basically what I need to know: Is there a dipstick and do you have fluid, filter, and a gasket (or whatever it uses to seal the pan)

 

Potentially dumb question, but what happened? Rock? Red line and threw a rod? Did the midget with a hammer escape?

 

The real question is how long did it run dry?

 

So. About this repair. I'm thinking a little heat, a couple sheets of poly carb and you could have something unique.

 

I'm not 100% positive but I think I can fix that with 4 tubes of J.B. Weld and a puddy knife. On second thought make that 6 tubes.
