I'm contemplating about getting rid of all asphalt related items and switching over to the dark side.

I'm getting those butterflies in my stomach and that little bit of adrenaline serge just thinking about all my years of riding. I was lucky to survive. Never rode track because I was scared. Not scared to ride the track but scared I would get hooked and that is one expensive hobby. Plus my rocket at the time was my daily commuter. My g/f at the time drove my truck. Everytime I would strap on my helmet, put on my gloves and zip up my jacket, I would get the dry heaves really bad. For the most part I was excited to go blast the frwys and fuck off, but I just knew every time I rode, I was closer and closer to it all ending. It's pretty bad when you have dreams that your in a wheelchair from a stupid motorcycle accident. It's just too easy to go down on the street without anything being your fault. A little coolant on the ground, some oil from that leaking clunker, or that bit of sand on the inside or outside of every corner. I went down on an R1 at 15mpg because it was dewy in the morning and I rode across the painted crosswalk lines on a right hand corner. The painted lines were a little dewy(I didn't know that at the time) and Blam. Straight down instantly. And not to mention all the idiots out there that think they own the road. Now I just stick to the dirt.

    Check Build thread
Going in for my M1 permit test tomorrow.

Then I'll be legal to cruise the dual sport (wr450f) around to connecting trails.

Won't be doing much on-road stuff... don't feel like getting run over :anonymous:

I do still wish I was out there on the street for sure! I will always renew my M1 license when it comes time just in case. I was a fucktard for sure back then. 20 years old and thought I was invincible.

I used to just take off mirrors as I went by for those dumb fucks that had no care for the law. Either a hammer fist or just a straight punch does the trick.

While we're talking about motorcycles I'd like to put some input in. There are a lot of bikers who act like they own the road and do some dumb shit. If I see one coming up that's trying to pass I usually just scoot over to one side of the lane so they have plenty of room but damn some bikers are just fucking nuts the way they drive.
