All women are crazy, just differing levels of crazy at different times

Not yet. I still haven't received shipment notification yet.

I don't have any suggestions, but I might be able to roll up after work. If the place has some grub and cider or liquor, I'm good. I'm not a beer drinker. :crapstorm:

Sad face on the no shipment. I think mine took about a week to cross the US once I got notification, and a freight company called me to deliver once it got to their hub. A full size tractor trailer pulled up in front of the house with a liftgate and dropped it in the garage.
Happy face for the no beer. I am with you on that one. Never acquired a taste for it myself.

Yeah. I never developed a taste for it either. I've come across some where I could get through a pint, but after that it's all just bitter nasty shit. I think it's the hops. I'll cook with beer, no problem. Beer boiled bratwurst and onions is one of my favorite meals.

Almost Any beer that has light in it. I used to drink mixed drinks with the ex when we would go to clubs all the time, but im over that now.

It takes me 2 hours to drink a bottle, and that's if I drink all of it. The last of it doesn't taste good to me. I think im almost over drinking

Yeah. I don't/can't drink wine either but will cook with it.

I prefer captain with coke and lime, but coke with Jack or crown will do the trick, too. Straight alcohol fucks with my stomach too much, so I stick with mixed drinks. The fruity/sugary cocktails are winners in my book.

Sounds like a plan man! I know Gordon birsch has a decent selection of stuff, but I cant remember if they have a cider or not. Another local favorite by me in the Alexandria area is Fionas. They have quite a nice selection of drinks as well as special house drinks. This is their menu...I believe they have a cider or two as well.

    http://www.fionasirishpub.com/drinks

There is also a spot in Fairfax called "Crafthouse" that seems to have a lot of good stuff. I cant remember if this might of been recommended by @boogie3478, but they have a lot of craft beers and cider there.

There is also a place called "world of beer" that has a crazy list of stuff, but can get swamped on a Friday night and somewhat loud. Feel free to give a shout if any of these spots sound decent. My hope is that we can find a spot where everyone can enjoy drinking something and relax after another grinder in the books.

I hear ya, I don't mind IPAs, but I can only have a few as it gets too bitter for me as well. I like a good middle of the road beer like a hefweizen (sp?) or a dark beer like a stout or porter. Cool thing beer really can taste completely different depending on what you choose.
