    Not unreasonably; splitting up the set leaves the seller with 1 tire that he can't use, and from personal experience selling 1 tire can be more difficult than selling a matching set. :notsure:

    Ok how could raising the price to $500 be anything but unreasonable for 4 tire's when it was 5 for $400.

    I would have said it in the original ad that I wasn't willing to break up the set, unlike the OP, who said that he was. Which is why if somebody asked me how much it would be for 4 tires instead of the 5 that I was selling I'd respond with the same price. Because I'm a sarcastic SOB.
