I just need to make sure it mounts so I can still open my rear doors.

Well Im down to roll out around 7:45-8:00 to any of those three places. I have been to Fiona's which is a quality irish pub where they have homemade irish dishs, it is a clean atmosphere, but can have music playing depending on the evening which can be hard with conversation.

Gordon Biersch would by at the Tysons mall area could be a decent spot and their beer is cheap since its home brewed with some decent food offerings.

I havn't been to crafthouse, but it sounds like what I could be going for. I personally vote to do crafthouse unless some folks have a better spot in mind or reservations about going there.

Worst case I bet you could get some sort of elevated mount to increase the elevation enough to clear? I assume you plan to put this on your voodoo? If so, does the voodoo go up the entire height of the cab? If it doesn't, then I can see that becoming a challenge for it to clear an additional 12 inches.

That's pretty cool too, but with the ARB awning I can then use this: http://store.arbusa.com/ARB-TOURING-AWNING-ROOM-WITH-FLOOR-2000-813204-P22804.aspx

True I didn't see where you said you wanted that. With the Hasike you can remove the outer poles in sections and set at different heights or remove all together and set that end on the ground giving you another room. Mine will be delivered today so in a couple of days I can post some pics.

my wife always makes fun of me because I LOVE fruity cocktails... she'll order a beer, I'll order something w/ pineapple juice, rum, and an umbrella in it.....and the waiter will come out and hand ME the beer and her the drink.

an awning would be really cool! for now, I'm going to focus on getting my recovery boards, and getting my Hi Lift and getting that mounted to the rack, and then start saving up for my Rotopax (because those things are NOT cheap) I'm looking at either putting a 1x 2 gallon, or a 1x 4 gallon can, or 2x 2 gallon cans... I dont know which would suit me best though... it will be for in case of emergency only..... so who knows.

That's hilarious. If you like rum and pineapple, I've got a good one for you. It's 3 kinds of rum, oj, pineapple, and grenadine. :D

imagine what you could do with a whole room where 2 people can sleep, on top of your truck!

also, The guy that bought my tent was interested in your bed bars, but decided against it
