+1 for the Max-Coupler, pricey (270w/shipping) but well made.

Looking at coolers today. For solo overlanders, does a 45 or 65 yeti/RTIC type cooler work better? I am concerned about DCSB bed space after the mountain bike, camp kitchen items, Jerry/water cans and recovery gear are loaded.

I've got an RTIC 45 that stays in the back full time and a RTIC 65 that's never been used. If you're concerned about bed space over cooler capacity, the 45 is where it's at as the footprint of the 65 is much bigger.

That's what I was thinking. I loaded up a yeti 65 for a SLC-Grand Junction -Durango - SLC with a few of my friends, and we had to get our tetris on with all our stuff.

Yes, getting the Tiger Moth this afteroon. The interchange abillity with the truck and trailer is a deffinate plus with the wheels and tires but this has 15" wheels and the truck has 17" so that would be a nogo at least for now. Pus with the 4cyl everything has to be done strategically to keep things as light as possible. In building the truck I've put steel where it is needed but aluminum where it'll work. It's one of the things that makes this camper so appealing to me is being all aluminum, basically, it's light

Just returned an OT 73 it's just too big especially at 30 pounds empty who carries the RCi I was looking at them the other day. The Cabelas Polar Cap 60 is getting pretty good reviews

Plus the fully loaded weight of a 65 is a lot more. Just something else to consider. I have a 45 in the bed usually

Love my rtic 45. But if camping/offroading for 3+ days, I have that and my indel B fridge too. Best of both worlds.

I need to investigate the power requirements for a fridge. It's a deffinately consideration especially once I install the solar panel
