TRD Pro shocks are worse than Honda Ridgeline?

This thread again? At 7:30 the guy states that the Ridgeline lost a shock as well. I'm willing to bet the other three weren't doing well either but he didn't bother to show us pictures of that. What exactly do you think would happen after driving on a rough, washboard road at a decent speed for miles and miles at street pressure?

 

But doesn't it get old having to replace the suspension?
I have no desire to off-road so I'm happy with how my stock suspension drives. Yet I need to consider something because the weak ass rear end is sagging nicely. All I tow is a pretty light 5x8 trailer, and have a shell on my bed. Why should I have to go beef up my suspension for That?

 

Its the leaf springs. An $80 add-a-leaf will stop that or you could just go get a Ridgeline beacuse according to the OP and video it's a far superior "truck."

 

Well for what he wants the Ridgeline would be a good choice, as it has a higher payload capacity than the Tacoma.

 

Honda probably designed it that way since it's the only other vehicle in their line-up besides the Pilot that's capable of towing anything. Toyota doesn't have that problem and the Tacoma isn't really made for towing heavy loads, never has been.

 

What exactly was your purpose in starting this thread (especially since your first post is wrong)? The Ridgeline has a few hundred more pounds of rated payload capacity but a few thousand pounds lower towing capacity. What's your point behind this exactly?

 

I'm totally gonna ditch my TRDOR and get a Ridgelind after reading this banter. It's clearly a superior being...

-Show in depth shots of shocks on Toyota and Nissan, briefly touch the same issue on the Honda

 

OP should probably fix the thread title.

 

I thinking pretty sad that I should have to spend any $ on the suspension for the little I put it through. A cap and towing a trailer that weighs 2000# is not a hard life.
I dont know alot about the new ridgeline, but prior to my Taco I owned a 08' Ridgeline. Bought it used with 60K and put a extra 100k on it before trading in. Honda did allot of good things with that truck. I didn't put any $ into it besides gas, oil, tires and a set of brake pads. I decided I wanted a
bigger bed so it was not a option on a new truck.
