It has new filter, new plugs, and I'm not sure about oil pan gaskets. I replaced basically everything I knew how to on it.

 

What color be the smoke Scotty?

 

Hopefully it be white

Use a meter and check the ignition cables

 

Tis oil in cylinder heads.

It's never been overfilled with oil right? Unless it's been flipped over it's probably piston/valve seals.

I actually was leaning more towards your last thought of piston seals. But I would think he would notice a pretty consistent sign of loss of compression, though it does not seem that is the case.

 

When I say flipped I mean very recently. They probably just need to be replaced. Hopefully it's upper gaskets and it isn't piston seals....

You would think so. But when he said the oil pour everywhere it made me think over filling of oil and it busting gaskets.
