That I don't beleive. They need some type of number to start the process. If the hole in the frame is over 10mm it fails.

so if i had already paid to have the frame totally replaced, i would get refunded, but now a picture sent to corp. will decide

That sounds completely different from my problem. The reason for the pictures and whatever the number may be for the dealer is because of the lawsuit. That's why its different. If you read the guidelines for it you get reimbursed for your frame if you had to pay out of pocket.

Sorry I don't post here much and don't know the jargon, but by pm I meant private message.

I know they mentioned taking pictures but I think that's just to prove to corporate that the dealer found the 10mm holes or whatever. And it's an entire frame replacement along with other parts associated with replacing the frame, lower control arms, some brake lines, etc.

I have an appointment to take mine in tomorrow. Even though it has been inspected once before I have to do it again. I'll report back. The guy I talked to had no idea what I was talking about. Thanks for posting the document @Jbwilson3791. Do you have the link to the document so I can print the whole thing?

Supposedly I've been told, as well as other one of the guys I showed it to has been told that it's for service managers eyes only so it may only get you in trouble.

So, just came back from the dealer I bought my used 2008 Tacoma from.
I had the frame rust protector applied by them in November 15, and now it's flaking off and rusting.
They told me because I had the coating applied, that added 15 years of rust protection from 2008, = good till 2023.
They suggested do nothing, let it rust enough to get a new frame.
Do note I'm in Canada , and don't quote me on all this, get your own facts, just trying to help.

Ok, is it possible for you to share pages 4-5? I would at least like to read it.

Canadians got a better deal than us in the US. I don't believe we got any extended frame warranty even if it was CRCed.

    so
you understand the settlement agreement , having the frame coating done back in the year that Toyota was doing that recall, will not disqualify a Tacoma from the frame replacement right ? mine was done a few years ago, but that didn't stop the rusting out of the frame foe me?

I have not seen that there is any action on the current Canadian class action suit, are you referring to Toyota's previous voluntary campaign?

i read this as a continuation of CRC treatment if the frame has not been treated , and the frame is not rusted enough to replace?

I'm sorry I misread your post--yes your truck is eligible for frame replacement if perforations larger than 10 mm are found...
