Yeah man, just something about it. They were one of those bands that I remember listening to on the school bus to just zone out and get away from the other kids..

Any life is worth living. Even if you live in a box it's the most precious thing there is on this earth

And I totally agree with you. But you add in drugs, alcohol, meds (or the negligence of discontinuing prescribed med use abruptly), can distort cognitive activity to the point of causing severe depression. He may have loved his life. But all it takes is one hour of synapse misbehavior and poof...

You use a lot of ultimatums in your statements, that you just simply cannot know as fact. You may believe it, but cannot prove it necessarily. As Zack is saying, you just don't know certain situations.

I have always heard....and agreed with for the most part that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Its selfish due to the fact that it affects more than just you. Regardless of what you went through or are going through that is simple not the answer. I grew up to Linkin Park and actually liked some of their new stuff. This sucks in all aspects

I don't disagree, it is selfish. There always SEEMS to be another way, but we just can't be so matter of factually on those type of situations when we simply DO NOT KNOW.

Agree with this as well. I'm not saying it's right or justified. I just cannot bring myself to blame someone when I was not in their head.

Again. You say that. But ask anyone who has been there and done that, it's not some glamorous life. Is it being in a foxhole in 'Nam? No. But you're constantly away from home and family, on the road touring to bring home the cheddar. you're constantly being ridiculed by your 'fans' by not writing songs they wanted you to write. You cannot lead a normal social life in public because there are people harassing you for pictures and interviews. You say one wrong word or make one wrong move and all of a sudden it's all over the news.

Think about living like that for 20 years. Wouldn't the money and huge house in the hills aspect wear off after a while?

NOT TO MENTION, you are still completely ignoring the neuro-activity and how it affects the way we feel and the choices we make.

Guess you didn't see that part about even if he lived in a box I would still feel the same way...

It's the pussy way out. Can't be a man and deal with problems even if it was caused by a drug telling him that was the only way out.
