hi all. I've got 265/75/16 duratracs on my truck right now with no lift and there isn't much noticeable power loss. I want to get the full 3" setup from ome but will this bog down the four banger to much. A regear is not in the budget and I'm almost positive that bigger tires would require a regear.

So in yalls opinion, would I be ok with the 3" or would I have to go the alternate route of 2.5"

Why would a 3" lift bog down the engine?

As long as you leave same size tire it won't make a difference.

I don't know, that's why I'm asking y'all for help. The truck being higher up in the air would make it less aerodynamic. But I guess it's not a big difference compared to trying to turn bigger, heavier tires. I'm in school, so bigger tires and regear aren't in the budget.

It will be fine. Just understand that a suspension lift that gives a V6 4x4 3 inches of lift will give you too much lift. Talk to the I4 folks to find out what has worked for them.
