Tacos in St. Louis area

I might try to take a last minute day off for august 5th. That sounds like a good time!

I have this Saturday down for PTO. So I'll see y'all in the am.

Yeah, I've got quite allot of trees. Everyone usually parks in the driveway but it's fine if people pull into the grass to snag some shade.

 

Went and looked at some more flatbeds today. Every one I see leaves me very unimpressed when comparing the price tags to what you actually get.

 

You coming out this weekend? We can talk flatbeds/ trays then.

 

Nah we got a weekend float on the Gasconade river this weekend. I'd like to make the next one tho. I'm currently just saving a bunch of pictures right now from the internet of what I would like in a bed.

 

Does anyone know of any offroading spots people are going to for the eclipse next month?

 

I know some people are talking about the Land Between the Lakes but I'm concerned that it may be crowded.

 

Another side note. This weekend is the Lucas Oil Off Road Race series in Weaton, MO. It's a little over a 3 hour drive. Tickets are $25 a person. Would anyone be interested in going?

 

Going to try to open the shop at 07:00 to get in front of some of this heat.

 

What all projects do we have going on tomorrow?

 

I want to get the boat loader back on the camper. Would like to swap my carrier bearing and my front CV axles. I ordered new fluids but I gamed the delivery schedule wrong and they won't arrive until next week.

I still have some electrical work to sort out as you know and have some new bezels that Bailey @Baja Designs sent me to swap out the anodized ones that I have now.

If Lee comes out he is hoping to do tie rods, I think Kris needs to do the same.

Hey guys I think I'm gonna have to pass on mod day this month. I'm looking at the temperature and it's gonna be way too much for me.

 

Try being out in it with a kevlar vest, poly blend pants and shirt. No a/c in office or work cars. Loads of fun!

If no one is here by 10:00 I'm going to pack it in as everything I have to do will need help from another. I've got a guy down the road, I'll just pay him.
