That is the way I read it. If you don't have one that big, make one you do have that big now--so that it will look weathered when you bring you truck in...

    --------------------------
I'd go to 11-12 mm just to be sure there's no argument.

So I am from Florida, which isn't one of the states on the settlement. Does that mean I can't even have them coat my frame? I plan to move up north within the next year and it would be nice to have the coating before it starts to rust. I already have surface rust from being near the ocean, but nothing bad.

That's what it says, only trucks "registered in the cold climate states" are covered by the CRC treatment part of the agreement--however when you do move and register in one of those states you will be covered, as long as it's within two years of the settlement date...

just called the attorney she explained it in non legal words. Settlement is starting now, can take cars in just confirmed a few minutes ago despite appeal. 10mm hole, just 1 needed, doesn't matter if you had CRC treatment before if there is a hole now, if no hole now and was never CRC coated you can have it done but only in CRC states listed in the settlement, some states have EPE regs and don't allow there are reasons a state isn't included. Interesting toyota didn't appeal, just individuals. Toyota agreed to do the settlement despite the appeal, plus they still have to fight the appeals and spend money on that as does the attorneys for our side. toyota could have rode out the appeal time for a couple years without doing our frames. she was polite 619-338-1100

We are planning on moving to Colorado and I just realized Colorado isn't covered as a cold climate state.... Bummer.

Yes, I remember reading something about the differences between the counties. I specifically remember being jealous and mad. Because before this class action lawsuit came about, if your frame had been coat ed in the states and your frame still rusted Toyota didn't care.

I do not really know, however I have read posts stating that near the catalytic converters is a common failure point...

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
So it sounds to me, based on this statement. I have a truck that I bought in Deleware, had it registered in Pennsylvania for five years, now live in Texas, frame is rusty as fuck, no holes that I can find, but, I'm still eligible for frame replacement.

I called my dealer and spoke with the service manager and they are saying they have not heard anything about it yet. Going to give it another week. I'm hoping to get it inspected before we move to Reno in a couple weeks. I dont think I have any holes, but I want the frame coated before I leave.
