    Whole lotta stuff
In terms of aftermarket magazines, I've had issues with hex mags. Mostly bad retention, the detention in the body of the magazine being molded too shallow, causing the mag to drop with regular shooting. I always give my mags a firm tap to make sure they fully seat, the hex mags I've had have seated and then fallen out after 1 or two shots.

I had some major problems with my first set of Hexmags which were the 1st gen versions, I called them because they have a lifetime warranty to try and get the issues solved. With in 5 minutes on the phone with them I had a confirmation that all of my mags from them would be replaced no questions asked with the newer 2nd gen version. All I needed to do was email them a picture of the followers and so I did. 10 minutes later I got a phone call from them with a tracking number and that they were being sent 3day to ensure they would arrive in time for a defensive carbine course that I mentioned that I was taking that same weekend. The 2nd gen. version has worked flawless as any other magazine should. That is some great customer service!

No not yet! I'm waiting for the Optimus to become available again and then it's waiting on the stamp. It's already backordered though

If you ship the stock FedEx, UPS, USPS, or whatever, it's best to be vague when they ask what's inside. While not illegal to ship non-serialized gun parts, most places have internal policies that are more restrictive. Sometimes it's plain ignorance on the clerk's behalf where they're not sure and don't want to risk getting in trouble. Had a buddy ship me some stuff and he ended up going to three different places because they told him they would not ship "gun parts" of any kind.
Third place asked: "what's in the box?"
    "Plastic puzzle pieces."

Avoids extra unnecessary hoops and you're not breaking any laws (as far as I know).

*disclaimer- not a lawyer, just some random stranger on the internet.

Last November I brought a pistol to a UPS store to get shipped and I swear the dude behind the counter had an actual real life heart attack and gasped when I said I need to ship this pistol. I ended up having to take it to a regional distribution center.

My mom shipped one of my AR uppers to a cousin, she told the lady behind the counter that it was car parts and that's why it was heavy. They didn't question why it had $300 insurance on it either wit that explanation.

I'll take pictures when I get home compared next to my normal AR.

It's going to be a busy year I think for AR's. I want to get an AR57 Upper for the pistol, I think I want to build an AR9 from the ground up, and build an AR22 Upper for my pistol and build an AR22 from the ground up for my wife

Every gun shop in CA has some brand or another on sale in a AR platform, this year has been so flat for AR's around me that some shops said they stopped stocking them unless someone wants to special order, I was so close to buying an LWRC AR but for some reason the MP looked better with the stock and felt more comfortable than the fin, they where both hundreds of dollars off and I still dream about the LwRC, I contemplated going back and buying it and just telling the landlord I can't pay rent this month :( I had no idea this was going to be so addicting

Come move to Texas where shooting is a family past time. When you move here you get a stetson, a horse and a revolver.

You are looking at this all wrong, now you need a 2nd rifle that is under 34" (including Can if choosen). :D

See I solved your case length problem, might need a money tree now.

Its not illegal to ship gun parts that are not the registering part of the firearm. I.e- uppers, barrels, parts. I can't speak to say a fully complete lower though.

Its a great case, but because I don't have an adjustable stock It wouldent fit.... I'd be willing to trade for a much lesser quality bag I'm litterally leaving it in the box it came in,

I spent all my money on ammo what can I say
