    I'd really prefer NOT a gofundme as they take a large percentage.

    And honestly, I tried to postpone and decline the offer as I'm sure our insurance will be there for us shortly.

    Well just let us know how we can help, I had a family member who lost their home and a few horses in the fires in Lake County last year, so stuff like this hits pretty close to home.

    As bad as this is, we are kind of looking forward to what is to come.
    We are lamenting the few sentimental things we left behind. Our new (fall 2016) workshop shed was spared. All our tools are there! (Yes, this makes me happy as I use them quite frequently too!)
    Between our insurance, TW, our close friends, our NPS family, we will be well cared for!

    Some bright spots:
    I have my Tacoma!
    Husband has his Cooper.
    We have our teardrop camper.
    We have the fancy jewelry.

    We are in a better position than many in this, including our (only) neighbor, who also lost his home.
