I should call it my bargain Satoshi / Called in some favors Satoshi.
-Bought an LKQ Grill for $35 (I didnt have the balls to cut up mine)
-I used the Klipp11 method for inserts and epoxy to fill in the sides.
-Called in a favor to a family friend to water jet the toyota emblem that I had designed out of aluminum. (I painted her up and cleared the shit out of it) Also had him make me a backing plate.
-Stainless mesh that my dad had laying around his fabrication shop (sand blasted/bent on the press brake for the contour in the grill because it was way to to thick to bend/primed with red oxide primer)
-L brackets Epoxied in with stainless hardware
-Sent off to my Bryan Auto Body in Wilmington, PA (my wifes uncle) for final paint and clear flat thick black.
Here she is. What do you think?

By all means. That mesh from customcargrilles or grillcraft is really expensive. I just went with whatever I could score for free. I knew my old man could get his hands on a leftover piece. I thought it came out good though and defintely different......

I think I probably will at some point. Wanted to get that bad boy in for the time being. Only takes about 2 minutes to take back out. Im sure Ill black it out this summer. Now Im deciding on fogs behind to mesh or a bully bar...

+ Dont think I have the courage for the BHLM

Nah. It was a family friend that has the water jet. He has a legit machining business and I doubt he would want to be sued by Toyota for copyright infringment. Besides he is an old school Chevy guy. He wasnt super excited about making a Toyota Emblem. He kept threatening to inlay some "bad bowties" into my design. However I posted the pic of my emblem sketch up. Anybody can use it all they want........If they have a water get or computer automated cutter of some kind.
