I'll go grab some hose too!!

It's certainly one of the pulleys. Either tensioner or idler #2. Should be able to tell clearly when I remove the belt. I thought it was idler #1 so I replaced that. Oh well the bearing was pretty shot anyways

@excorcist @Torspd UPDATE. Changed the plugs and they were all at .075 gap and the drivers one closest to fire wall looked like this....

    Here's the updated video

Also I took the belt off and idler #2 was super shot and the other idler and tensioner were bad too

Than again your electrode still looks worn to me when I zoom in.... obviously not the source of your noises...

On my phone it sounds good, but again not the best speaker on here.

The oil is all on top of the plug, and not on the threads, so to me that means that the valve cover seal could be leaking.

I know on the 4.7 there's an o-ring down in the spark plug tube that's bad about leaking, so I assume the 4.0 is the same way. Nevertheless, it requires pulling the valve (cam) cover.

No o-rings in the spark plug tube, on the 1GR. Only place to leak, is from the gasket between spark plug tube and valve cover.

Is it normal that the tops of the pistons looked black/charred?

See if it's just carbon. Tee-spoon of water on the piston top for a few seconds and wipe it up with a rag. Does it clean it?

    Bag of metal marbles....

If it is leaking into the tubes, it is a good idea, to replace it.

Look at the ends of your other vacuum hoses and make sure that they aren't spilt.

The Rotella oil. Is that a diesel oil, or a diesel/ gas rated oil? If it is diesel only, it won't stand up to the gasoline. It will break down too quickly.

I'm not too sure. I know a few of my buddies run it and love it. The Mobil 1 was like water. The hose had burned on the header but I replaced it.

I will check the spark plug in a few hundred miles and see if there is oil on the plug

This is the oil....going to change it in 5kIMG_5156.jpg

Good plan and I believe that is the proper Rotella. The picture on the bottom right, has a truck and a tractor. Which makes me think they mean dual purpose.
