Dont need a lightbar, actually wont use much more than headlights, ditch and rock lights, if you dont wanna blind everyone anyways.

Yep, don't be in the lead and you shouldn't need much more than your headlights.

I don't mind scooping you up from wherever as long as it's not too far south of North Loop 820. Probably won't drink much if at all since we'll be out late. Not looking to meet any state troopers along 114 at 2am.

Finally figured out my CB squeal/feedback issue was a bad mic. I guess it doesn't like banging around in my console. Changed the mic and all good. I think the cable was getting pinched when I shut the lid. Bought a 90degree connector from Amazon to solve that.

 

I do have a handheld 2 way radio from work will that work? I don't have any experience with that stuff. I don't have a cb.

 

My mom lives just off 35 and basswood near beach. I can leave my truck there. I can bring my radios and recov bag, glad to heard you got the cb squared away.

 

I'll have a spare 2 way. That will leave me 1 and also the handheld CB.

as long as it can select basic channels it will work(i think they all do). I carry a $20 pair from acadamy I bought back in Jan.
