Detail shop in town (yes I know. I usually detail but work has been killer) scratched my handle down the the metal.
Question is. Has anyone done replacement handles on their 2017? Because this might make me switch to a black handle and not the painted quicksand color. (I will be making them pay for the handle or touch up paint or what ever it takes)

    It's just a scratch.

Also, shouldn't they pay for it?

Also also, paying someone to detail a new truck? :notsure:

Anyways, this is completely possible. Limited has chrome, SR has black, others are paintmatched as far as I know. You should be able to swap to a black handle. You'll have to take off the inner door panel to access it. Should need screwdrivers, a set of ratchets, a plastic pry bar to pop the rivets, and I think a torx bit.

I know. My girl is saying the same thing.

Yup. I shouldn't have done it. But with everything going on I took a risk. And it bit me. So back to forcing time into my day. Blah.

Thank you for the input on the handle swap. I figure it would entail that.

    I appreciate it!

 Own the mistake. You wanted black handles anyways, right?

Are the black door handles interchangeable with the paint match? What I mean is the ones you can touch to lock and unlock vs the ones that don't have this feature.

I was driving down the street the other day and there was a freaking tree branch sticking out, it scratched the "A" Pillar, Side Window, "B" Pillar, and "C" Pillar! I used the Buffer on the "A" and "C" Pillars along with the Door Glass and got those scratches out, I don't know what to do with the Vinyl Covered "B" Pillars as I cannot remove those scratches.
