I'm pretty sure you know the answer to that one.

I'm pretty sure we pay the neighbors mortgage through the amount of cans they take out of our bin. :anonymous:

I don't know if my uneducated taste buds would know the difference it would probably be a waste on me. And is it just me or if it's age for twice as long as Jack should it be like $30?:notsure:

Jack is only good mixed with Coke or something. Whistle Pig? You dare not mix that with anything.

Trust me I thought the same before my boss started buying nice bottles for me to try. I was more than content with a bottle of plain of Jameson, but since tasting some of the more expensive stuff I can see the allure. He's gone all out and gotten $200 bottles to try, which I happily accepted, but would never do myself (mainly because I only have $200 in my bank account...haha).

It's not just the age but also the process. Each place/type has a different process which refines the alcohol changes the taste. My favorite (within a reasonable price range) is Basil Hayden's. Amazing taste, smooth and reasonable to buy for a sipping whisky. At $40-50 a bottle it's more than reasonable for a one to two drinks a night. If you haven't tried it, do so.

Now don't get me wrong, I still drink the "cheap" stuff. Sitting right now with a glass of regular Jack. Nothing wrong with it, but if I'm going for taste, this isn't what I grab.

Another I like is an Irish whisky, 12 year Red Breast. Smooth and easy to drink. The 15 year isn't anything better and for 2x the price.

If you're ever in Santa Cruz again I'm more than happy to pop a bottle or two and let you taste for yourself.

That's fighting actions right there. My coworkers husband slammed his whistle pig today like a shot of Jack, made me cringe as I sipped on mine. I'm not a snob or anything but I had to remind him that "shot" he just took cost $15 or so.

I'll have my bottle of 18 year Jameson at Tepui fest if any of you gents coming would like some ;). I also need to see how my home aged whiskey is doing. Was supposed to bust it out after a year in may, but forgot about it, figured I'd just let it keep aging

Any local humans that want to make some cash building me a bed rack? Even if you just bend and notch stuff I can weld it later.

I need something to hold my tent and my 80/20 experiment didn't really work. It has to bolt to the bed floor and not the rails.

I could make it out of square tube, but bent round stuff looks so much better! ;)
