Found that I have ran over some house paint. It's nice and dry now. Splattered up in all 4 fender wells and some on side of truck. Is there a chemical that is safe to remove this paint without damaging my truck paint. Of course it had to be white, truck is red. Any replies are much appreciated.

Can you just peel or chip it off? I'd hate to use a chemical that might discolor the plastic in the wheel wells. For the stuff on the paint I would try buffing it out. If that doesn't work, you could carefully scrape it with your fingernail.

What about bug and tar remover? I use it a few times on my white truck with no issues. But this was for bug, tar and grease. Not too sure if it will work or not, just throwing out a suggestion.

Thanks everyone. It does flake off with my fingernail, but there's so much. Think I'll try the oops product. Have you had any issues with it affecting your truck paint?

if its water based paint(most likely) just use a sponge and scrub if you dont want to use chemicals, but that bug n tar, oops, goof off stuff should work fine.

Thanks for all the replies. Think I'll go with the oops, goof off etc. route. The doughnuts in gravel sounds fun, but how will I get the fronts. It's a pre-runner. JK. Thought about painting it black. Might still go that route. I'll try the chemical way 1st. Thanks again. Love this site.
