Gonna have to try something. Called the pound today to talk to their behavior specialist. I don't think his previous deutschbag owners treated him well but that was awhile ago. Maybe we can get someone to work with him but I'm leaning to giving him back. I can't trust him around my girls

I mean you definitely should put the girls first, you'd be a terrible father if you didn't. I wouldn't recommend the pound though, they kill pets. Maybe try and find a place that doesn't kill?

That's why it's going to be a hard decision. I doubt we'll find a rescue as he's not a pure lab and you can tell. Also no rescue would take him if he gets defensive when they show up. I'm going to talk to a trainer. If we can get rid of the defensive posture he shows around other people and dogs maybe we can keep him.
Edit: That was supposed to qoute your previous response

He's fine with Us. Me, wife, and kids. I've been researching and he's displaying a fear biter. He has always displayed these aspects I just didn't realize it.

That sucks, mine had separation anxiety and would destroy the entire house when left alone. Eventually we couldn't even leave the room he was in or he would destroy the room. Medication didn't help

I don't know if its the lack of sleep, the fact that I got bit 12989123591723 times at Scotty's house by mosquitos, or just that I don't wanna be here today, but something is gonna have to change rather rapidly or my ass is going home! Happy Friday mofos!

Here's a fun one for a Friday. A drunk driver ran through my grandmother's yard yesterday and took out her air conditioning unit.

you're right. My grandma is 82 I believe and still gets out and does yard work, thankfully she wasn't out yesterday.

She also has 2 AC units so she didn't go with AC for the night, and a new unit is being installed today. So she at least gets a brand new unit out of the situation..
