    Anyone having issues with leaking?

I've got a Z Series and have a leak. It's not the topper , the water is coming from between the black bed cap and the top of the bed. Anyone else experience this and find a fix?

Yes the transition at the steel bed and the plastic inner bed leaks bad. What I did was pack the corners with butyl tape and no more leaks. Make a golf ball size amount and push it up into the corners but be careful as the metal could be Sharpe. This should remedy any issues.

Problem is mine is leaking more than just the corners, but I'll have to give that a try. The corners are the worst of it.

The guy at cap world said I should remove the topper and then take the plastic caps off and silicone under both edges of them all the way around.

No pictures of my new shell yet but I got what I think is extremely lucky. I had been searching for used shells and just assumed I'd never find a Barcelona red one since I could barely find short bed versions in any color. So I finally found a great deal on an ARE CX in silver with a whispbar hd rack setup for 485. I bought it immediately and planned to color match. Well that was a year ago, fast forward to about two weeks ago I find the same shell with no rack for 300 and its color matched. I had Alamo given up but then this showed up and for an amazing price. I bought it the same day he listed it and now I have mine for sale and already received offers for 500 and I keep the rack. So I figure all said and done I'll have a color matched shell with rack for 300. Needless to say I'm happy.

Sig. The Shell Hut. Is coming along!! Here he is about 90% done. Custom built interior by Cody Alter. He doesn't have a website, but you can find him on instagram at @positivecody // Things left to finish :: the floor, which will pull out and sit on teak tracks on each build out to make it a large bed for two! The drawer pulls and the back wall will be wood too. :) :) //

SUPER HAPPY with my choice of a BelAir custom shell. It fits my needs for surfing and exploring!! YEW! And, the first surf trip and first sunset were glorious! Ask anything, and I'll try and answer.

That's actually what I aspire to do with my camper shell. Make it a place where I can just chill whenever I feel like it wherever I'm at.

Sounds just like me, found a good deal on a black-not so good shape cap, then an even better deal on a newer, mint condition barcelona red shell. All said and done I'm about $350 into the matched one and could not be happier.

I seem to think that I remember that Yakima had some pieces to add (4) to the cap so that the towers can be clamped to your cap.
I put some on the old leer cap on my T100. You might have to get different 'feet' on the towers.

When you say gutters are you referring to the tracks that are bolted to the cap to mount your Thule or Yakima towers to?
