09 BASE EXTENDED 4CYL 155K : So far my web search has only found the ball joints with control arms. Ebay and Amazon have moog brand if anyone has feedback on moog spit it ? Otherwise id like to replace with Toyota oe brand. Without having to buy with the control arm atatched at the Stealership if posible but with the luck ive had the last year and a half ***(i replaced all 4 with premium Oreily brand and their squeaking already and the boots are torn ) I understand they need be greased and all but dam the oe units went 6-7 years 130k without issue. Can anyone sugest a good ball joint i wont have to be dickin around with.

I have moog lca and moog upper ball joints in my camburg uca. Haven't had any problems in the 7 months and 5k miles. Checked them yesterday and looks as good as the day I installed them.

The moog ball joints are pretty good. Some even have a zerk fitting so you can keep greasing them and pump/push out the old dirty grease.

If you can't get OEM lower ball joints, why does everyone have a hard on for worn out OEM LCAs?

Maybe better metal and build then the complete moog replacement lca. Plus you can take your time rebuilding them, then swap them out when your ready. I've heard the bushings are a total bitch to remove and replace.

Out with a torch, in with a press?

That's a common method on other marquees. Something funky about Tacoma LCAs to prevent that?
