    285/75/16 Load Range E which I'm wary about but eh it couldn't be worse than daily driving my evo with the full undercarriage braces and coilovers set to the stiffer damping.

    Mine aren't nearly as large at 265/75r16 but I could certainly feel the weight difference from the stock to these (20lbs difference or so per wheel) But they still ride great!

    If he was running P-metric 265's before the weight difference should be about the same, 15-20lbs per wheel. The difference in weight between most LT265's and LT285's is pretty minimal, usually less than 1-2lbs.

    This might depend on the tire. My Coopers in that size are heavier than my old 305/60/18 Nittos. Good thing about 285/75/16 is they don't need more PSI than stock, so the ride isn't so stiff.
