5000-7000. And believe me do it I have one that's uneven and it sounds like a paper bag is stuck in the wheel well for some weird reason

That can be caused by bad alignment too. I had that noise on my front passenger for awhile, finally started to notice uneven wear. Got an alignment and it went away. Bad caster will cause road shock which sounds like something stuck to the wheel and will wear the tire very quickly

I am going to bring my gear. I have only fished big bear lake. Have yet to explore the surrounding areas. But I am game to hunt for other places.

Jenks lake is about 10 minutes from the campsite and usually has good fishing.

I've caught a few different species of native trout in the creeks a little beyond the 7 oaks area. You can get used to the fishing in the creeks where they stock them and then fish for the natives further up creek (a bit of offroading). Just a heads up, native trout are very skittish so you have to be very stealthy when fishing the creeks otherwise you won't catch jack shit.

My favorite spot used to be Bear Creek, which was never maintained and hard to get to. Now I hear you can drive a lowered civic to it and not have a problem. Talk about a fucking joke.

Just reserve a spot, at that point you'll be committed and have to go.

Ha ok he is on some aftermarket 18"s with whatever tire the stock 18"s came with. It is a 2016 so it has the wide body. Assuming his tires are still good given the age of the truck.

ARE Shell. Pelfreybilt front bumper. hi-clearance rear bumper w/swing out. Rigid light bar/fog lights/reverse lights. Pelfreybilt front skid. Home/hand made slidders. DR front coilovers. Camburg UCA. AllPro Expedition leaf pack w/u-bolt flip and Timbren bump stops. 285 70-17 on stock rims with Spider Trax wheel spacers. EBC slotted/drilled rotors with green pads.
The Santa Ana rive starts up there right by the campground. Some good fishing if you take your time and fish the pools. Caught some browns out of there using grasshoppers. You can catch the grasshoppers wild up there as your walking through the grass to get to the stream. Use your hat to throw at them to stun them enough to be able to grab them. Worms also work great for the browns. The stream is mighty small up there but it does hold fish. It also gets socked here and there once and awhile. Not really a fly fishing friendly stream. Very tight with trees and brush. You can fish the stream starting at where it goes under the 38 all the way past seven oaks. Easy dirt roads follow the stream all the way down to seven oaks. Good luck guys. This was one of my get away spots when I would ditch for the day back in high school. Oh yeah, watch out for bears and lions. Saw one of the biggest black bears ever out of all the ones I've seen in California in that valley. Seen plenty of lion prints too while deer hunting that area too.
