I asked the vet too if i am feeding her too much, he said any less than what i am feeding her now he would be concerned about her being hungry. She gets about 1.25 cups of food in the morning and the same in the evening. I'll just have to watch the amount of treats she gets along with the weight control food (neighbors tend to give her A LOT of treats when they see her)

Honestly I 3d printed collar holders for FitBit zip's for my two large breed dogs to wear. That way I can track each day how much they move around and then I can make sure they hit their step goal every day. There is another device called fitbark which works well but I don't like the way it mounts to the collar (Uses rubber mounts which could break easy).

Beuceron weighs almost 100 lbs and she is 17 months old this week. Great pet, watchdog, and friend. Still acts like a puppy sometimes. Lol.

It takes 3 years for their brain to fully develop. So I guess they are just like little kids. I do know this, when we left the kids at home, my wife didn't like my idea of "just lay some news paper down in the kitchen and gate them in there" she said I am going to hell. I found out real quick, Baby sitters are a must have. Oh well.

    The swimming suggestion is great.

We had the same issue with Riley. What I did was slowly cut back his daily ration. Tho he's sometimes hungry, it's worked well.

I hear ya. I have a 3 month old collie. He's a lot of work. I don't think he slept last night because I didn't get him out running like I usually do. He's super smart and eager to please and easy to train but I need to put at least 2 hours in an evening with him to get worked. Having his sister over for the weekend was good at wearing him down but he needs the focus on training otherwise he's a little terror.

Little nugget has been sick all week. Finally got into the vet this morning. Let's hope the treatments and meds help this poor girl out.

Btw, exploding dog butt is absolutely horrible. I now feel for anyone else that has experienced this, whether human or dog experience.
