I was in 8th grade... what is that 12ish?

    Suzuki DS80 (so much fun)

    Then moved up to a

Suzuki RM80 (my first true love)

    Then got myself a

    Suzuki DR125L (also fun)

    and a

    KTM 200XCW (monster)

Right now I have no bikes at all, just bought a house and can't afford such an expensive hobby... but I'll be back...

Started when I was 10 on a Polini 50, that thing was a screamer! I've had probably four or five more dirtbikes since and try and ride every weekend :)

My first "bike" was a Benelli minibike at 12 or 13. Made jumps for it til I sheared off one of the drive keys, lotsa fun though. A KX80 later on was a real screamer

    I started with a KX60 when I was 8 and moved up to a YZ80 at the age of 10. That YZ80 was a beast. I think I was about 13 before I got up into a YZ125.

I am trying to convince my wife that 5 or so is the right age for our kid to start riding. I think it is very good for development...plus those bikes that you have to pedal are so damn boring. ;)
