    Spray it with some WD40, or some such. Take the BFH and beat on the spindle and UCA. I'm out of ideas. GL

    Doing the fronts right now. Screwed up the passenger tie rod, I must have damaged the threads somewhat cause whent he nut goes so far it grabs and the whole thing turns with the bolt :(

    Going to get a replacment later when the wife gets home to give me a ride lol

    There is a cut out in the center of the bolt, so you can use a 5.. hex wrench to hold it still while you tighten the nut with an open/box wrench.

    yeah was looking at that. i could see where maybe at one time it had a shape but its pretty much rounded out or just filled with crud. try using a wire brush and some brake cleaner to see if thatd help but no luck there.

    and no one stocks this part... theres a dealership that claims has sunday hours parts department hopefully they have one there.

    ok, well with some visegrips i managed to tighten it up afterall. anyhow, mine is a base model and i bought some used 5100s & trd off road springs that were already assembled, i noticed i gained about 3/4-1" lift even though these are set at 0 lift but over bumps im getting a metal squeaking sound now. :confused:

    thers a 1/4" metal spacer that i installed underneath the upper mount on the drivers side to accomodate the lean. another thing, i noticed when its sitting on its own weight, the first couple coils from the top seem to be awfully close together at least from my opinion, is that normal? i know the OR springs are "progressive" but it was just something i noticed.

    it rides great, i love how it its definately more stiff but not like bone jarring, more like how a heavier truck rides but the squeaks bother me.

    the squeeks are probably from your sway bar, you need to get a sway bar relocator from toytec, I had the same thing happen to me and I took it back to where I had my tires installed cause I thought it was the calipers rubbing on my new wheels, but it was the sway bar rubbing on the coil, easy fix too only took about 30 min. to put on

    The sprongs from the TRD Off Road are progressive. The top coils will be close to touching.

    dunno, but thats what was happening to mine, I think the relocators move the sway bar forward a 1/2" in. or so, the squeek usually happened when the spring was compressed after I hit a bump not when I drove straight on the road

    i took a look under there and can see they are pretty close just sitting, and where as any movement in the suspension they would rub a little. will have to look into the relocators now.
