So I have this precious new 2017 Tacoma OR, but my lifestyle is anything but clean. I like activities and places that are seriously dirty-so I get dirty, I eat in my vehicle, use my passenger seat like a truck bed, and my dog rides in the back seat at present (albeit in a crate).

I need front (only) seat covers. I tried to search for options and found the Clazzio Leather options, but not sure I can afford those right now since I still have to pay for a canopy soon.

What are some of my options for a decent fitted seat cover for a tacoma that won't blow the bank?

I work construction and am often dirty at the end of the day. I purchased Carhartt seat covers and they've been wonderful. They're fitted, front and back will cost 500ish. They're easy to install and remove and you can machine wash them. They're also very durable.

You probably want solid covers like the wet okole or if you go Clazzio, price the non-perforated covers, they are cheaper I believe.

The clazzio are a bitch and a half to get on and if you spill a drink on the perforated ones it is just going to go straight down into your original seat below.

Trust me, after you put them on you are not going to want to take them off and put them on again.

I really hope you're not correct with the drink spilling stuff... I ordered some Cazzio covers myself, and I Really don't want this to be true...
Clazzios have a 1/2 foam fitted under the leather, extra cushion. That foam is supposed to be water proof, or at least water resistant (at least according to some videos I've seen a while ago). @Clazzio what say you?

I saw the foam when I was installing mine, it was a thin layer. Sure it might be water resistant, but where is the liquid going to go? If it gets wet enough it is just going to squish down into the seat below or the foam the next time someone sits on it and it compresses I would think. Or maybe it will come back up through the perforations and soak your pants? What if you spill coffee? A coke? It still is going to go down into the foam and be impossible to clean.

Just an observation once I had mine. I had wished I had ordered non perforated for total protection.

Don't feel a significant difference between heating. But I haven't used them much since it's hot where I live.

Ok, I understand your point. I'm under an impression that this whole water resistant (or proof) layer was designed to give you some time to wipe off the spill. But yeah, non perforated (vinyl) would, or might, protect the seat better, and would be way cheaper than leather. Maybe that's something that Op could consider.
