I've still got a little more research to do. Maybe saying 10 psi is a little high for me.
I guess my end goal is something more peppy with the reliability factor. The truck has miles (477k) so I don't want to blow it up. And the urd kit seems more appealing for the simplicity factor. I have never mingled with forced induction and tuning.

So far I have the idea of stock pulley, with the urd kit. Sitting around 5500 ft of elevation. Anything else I should do or change?
Thanks for answering my noobish questions, love learning from you guys

At that elevation go for the 2.2 pulley at least. I'm at 4500 with a 2.1.

The blower is probably the simplest and more reliable solution for more pep. And it does wake up the 5VZ. I don't think you'll be unhappy.

Appreciate the response. I had the blower by itself on my last truck and definitely miss it. But I want to put it on right this go around. Just need to rebuild the nose cone and then throw it on the truck, hopefully in time for RT.

So I agreed to help a friend swap racks, ball joints, install an OME lift, and new CV shafts. Only curious about the rack and upper ball joints really, as I've done the rest. Any tips since you've done a few racks?

    They suck haha

Having a long drift to help lever stuff to line up helps a lot. Do the driver side bolt first, followed by the middle and passenger side last. Kinda gotta do the driver side and middle almost at the same time. Makes sure the new rack is centered before installing too. And don't forget to connect the slip joint to the steering wheel...I've done that haha which is easier to work with then undoing the joint right at the rack btw.

Uppers aren't too bad. Just need a ball joint press and I think they call it the Honda adapter kit at the parts store.

I'll get it pulled off here soon. Not using it. Need to find my EGR block off plate for the Blower before i can commit to that.

Is the egr block off required to run the blower? Makes sense that you don't want all the dirty exhaust in there.

Uppers have always been a pita for me. Maybe I didn't have the right tools but last time I did them I cut the stud off and was able to get the press to seat better instead of trying to use spacers to get around it.

Yeah because I didn't buy it from them so they made no money from it.

But that's just what I've heard. I have had hit and miss when I reached out to them though. I wouldn't let that jeep you from buying from him though.

Its on the blower when you get it. You remove it so you can install the 7th Injector

IMO, that's the difference between outstanding and just ok customer service and technical support. You find fewer and fewer places that know how to do outstanding support. It's a shame but all the focus is on profit and surviving.

Ya i can never get to talk to anyone there or a callback......makes me really wonder if I did have a prob with that urd kit I would be sol on my own bout it. but mabey I should go with that aem kit an just tune it but Idk bout tuning myself though, but I was just being lazy an it would be easier to just install that 7th injector ha, an "plug n play" power (hopefully)

Hey Monte have you looked into a better cooling system for the 3.4? I'm running on the hotter side. I'm considering the 3.0l 3 row radiator. Since I'm chopping off the front I can build the cage to hold it. Just wondering what you think.

    Pic for shits and giggles.
