This is a trial balloon, just to see if my editing and uploading is working. Just a short clip, look at the cars on the left. As we begin to cross the bridge the first one crosses over quite a way into my lane. The tailgater behind also does the lane shift, being more focused on the bumper of the car in front than on his lane.

Just do a little mall crawl in over the curb...

This is why I got the Wolo Big Bad Max air horn... Pretty cheap but much louder than stock... it really ensures that they are aware of their stupidity.

LOL, I preferred to just glare at the dumbass and let him stew in discomfort. He actually acknowledged his dumbassery.

Maybe I'm just passive, but excessive horn blowing these days is like Russian Roulette. Drive defensively and stay away from morons, which must people in these cam videos seem like they sometimes going out of their way to get a hot supper.

I play Russian Roulette a lot then... most people realize that they were wrong and just fix themselves. I drive as defensively as possible, but Tucson has the worst drivers I have ever seen. They actively defend the title of worst drivers, daily. I need to get a dash cam so you can see what I deal with every day... people go from left turn lane to right turn lane across 3 driving lanes... with traffic.

Exactly. I rarely use my horn because of that. And the other day reminded me why I don't. Because some jackass sped around me as I was switching lanes, signaling way ahead of time, and I almost side swiped him so I gave a quick honk and he brake checked me. Then again the second time I layed on the horn and he continued to drive at a snails pace. Like dude, you're in such a hurry to get around me, then move it! Obviously he was just being a dusche and thought he was king of the road and not in a hurry.

I installed an air horn because I feel like people need to know loud and clear that they're driving needs improvement. Otherwise they might continue to drive like an idiot and think it's ok. :notsure:

I use my horn almost daily, mostly because Tucson is full of college kids not paying attention, old people not paying attention and self entitled pricks. The horn/lights is my way of letting people know that they need to pay attention or they are idiots. Usually it's people staring at their phone well after the light has turned green or people who cut me off.

Same, if someone has a problem with constructive criticism then they are probably an entitled prick.

Oh I agree. But I was just stating that it is in fact kinda like playing Russian roulette when using your horn. Never knowing if you're gonna be a victim of road rage because of it. I nearly rear ended the guy that brake checked me, and I'm not sure if I could've won that even though it was on camera. Still a failure to control vehicle I'd imagine.

I keep my road rage deterrent with me at all times, I've only had to use it once, it worked. It's also kept me from getting mugged at least once.

Actually, a road rage incident a few years back is what prompted me to finally get my ccw. A guy chased me through a residential area until I got stuck behind a car, got out of his truck and approached mine. I slammed it in reverse, hopping a curb, and back the other way.

I have to say I was quite shaken. Had no clue what his intentions were.. I did nothing to him besides slow down to the speed limit(as i was already doing 10 over) as he was tailgating me, in hopes he would just pass me. He did pass after traffic finally allowed it. But continued to slow down in front of me after that like I did to him, and flipped me off repeatedly, all while being forced on his ass well below the speed limit. Then as I turned in to a community he turned around and continued to follow me and chase me as I sped up to try and lose him. That's when he parked next to me and got out yelling and I fled in reverse..

So yeah, never again will I be caught off guard.. Haven't had the need to use a show of force or anything like that since though. But you never Fucking know. Crazy ass people out there..

Edit: and on top of that, reason to have a dash cam for those types of things including wrecks And being wrongfully ticketed. Which my last wreck was like an ongoing two year ordeal with insurance AND being sued, that finally ended just recently.

Oddly enough, the only time I needed it to deter road rage, I still have no idea what got him all worked up. I was just going home from work on a normal road. I was going the same speed as everyone else, he decides to tailgate, t gen whip around me and swerve into my lane to brake check me, eventually ended up behind me again, gun went up, he disappeared.
I had another instance where I was walking to my truck across an empty parking lot at about 8PM and some beat up old clunker was following me with a couple guys in it, diagonally across the parking lot, going my walking speed. I just lifted my shirt, put my hand on my gun, lifted it slightly and watched them speed of in a different direction.
I hope I never need to do anything more than that, but I'd rather be prepared.
I've had several co-workers have similar encounters, one had a gun pulled on him at a red light for no reason. Another was just getting tacos (in the shady part of town) some cholo walks up and lifts his shirt to show his gun, my buddy raises his and points it at the guy who immediately raises his hands and walks away.

You shouldn't carry one of those, that's just not right in a civilized society.

You should really carry something that holds more than a handful of rounds and won't jam, like a Glock :p

My Glock carries the same number of rounds and jams more than the 1911.
