    I agree with maybe. For your truck, probably. You don't really beat on your truck offroad or carry a lot of weight around but remember, there is only so much valving a shock can do. Springs hold the weight, shocks manipulate the way the weight is moved around. No different then your legs and body. Give your #50 kid a piggy back ride and you can seemingly stand still for hours with him but start doing squats and your legs will give out within minutes. The difference between holding weight and moving weight. The more weight you add, the faster you move that weight and the more random your up and down motion is will determine how fast you fatigue and how quickly you recover. 2.5 shocks are just stronger then 2.0s. They have more oil capacity and are made with bigger/ stronger parts so they will move that weight around easier, take longer to wear out and recover faster.

    It really is a maybe answer. If I HAD to say yes or no, I'd say no, even for you, to go on the side of caution because no matter what you do with your truck, 2.0s will wear out faster and provide less performance.

    They are a smart business. Their campaign is based around stock replacement suspension that rides good on the road. They followed the route of Bilstein, Pro Comp, Rancho, Monroe, etc .... King, Fox and ADS campaign towards offroading. It's a much smaller market so less consumers, less overall money, etc .... but equates into a better product for offroading and depending upon how you like your ride, a better product for on road as well.

    Yeah fuck this heat. Unfortunately I've been in and out of it today at work. My boss is a dick, i hate my work hours, I hurt my back everyday, my balls are sticky constantly .... I would quit and burn this mothafucker down and go offroading instead but I gotta pay bills and be an adult. 1,435,732 years in and I still love my job. When's the next meet anyway? Ill be there because yall need my expertise on every thing ....

    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
    I would match the rear with whatever shock you put up front. Dakars for the rear for lift. Also, from experience...you will end up wanting 3" add a spacer or get a setup you can adjust to 3

    Found a pair of Camburg Coilovers on CL in my area. $450. Emailed dude. No contact number. See if he still has them or what the deal is.

    Think I got a pretty good idea of what I need to do to get truck I'd like.

    Still some debating. Espeically on the rear. Levi said to set fronts at 2.5" to be happy. What would I do about the rear? Would I need a new leaf pack for 2.5" of lift? Biggest AAL I saw was 2"

    I could set front at 2", get the 2" aal and call it a day. But do it once. Do it right. Weighing the options.

    You can always start out with the fronts set for 2" of lift and dp 2 rear and if you don't like it raise the fronts up

    Remember your truck has rake from the factory so 3" in the front may only need 1" in the back. An AAL is fine but it's a bandaid for the problem. All Pro standard pack or Dakars, depending on your lift aspirations, would be ideal.

    Also you may want to give Camburg or better yet Down south Motorsports a call and see whats involved with rebuilding those coilovers. I don't know much about them and it may be more trouble/more expensive then it's worth. It may also just be standard Fox/King parts and you're $100 into a full rebuild and valve job.

    Can someone suggest a good camping area east of Cookeville? I'm camping for my birthday and would like to find a quiet, shaded campsite, preferably in the mountains. I was originally going to camp in north Georgia but it's just out of the way. Secluded and no cell service is fine. Water access or creek camping is preferred. TIA.

    Not sure what your exact vehicle configuration is, but I put on OME 90000 with 885s in the front, 5100s and deaver aal in the rear. My truck is an AC 2.7 4x4, it sat dead nuts level all 5 corners at 23.5" hub center to fender.
    The OME are going away because I can't handle the clunking noises anymore. 5100s in all four corners. For what I plan to do, 5100s are fine for a good while. Eventually I may get 2.5 shocks
