Looks like he changed the design from two welded pieces to a single bent piece.

Hard/no start video. If you have not tried this use your extra original key see if the problem continues . The key you are using may have a problem with the chip, Just a suggestion

Thanks man! I'll try that but my actual key and the clicker for the doors are two separate things ... so I'm not even sure if my actual key has a chip. Worth a shot though.

Definitely has a chip. If you had a key cut but not programmed to your truck, it wouldn't be able to start it. Pretty much every car nowadays has one.

Started my small storage project for the fridge and maybe some drawers inside of the truck. Lots of possibilities here to explore.

It's pouring rain outside but I'll try my spare key as soon as it stops. If my hair gets wet it ...

Dude this storm is insane! All of a sudden my power flickered, it got super dark, and SUPER windy. Then a minute later it started dumping rain.

Just looked at you starting issue video and you may need to let the pump prime before you crank. Before you turn it over let the lights cycle. Usually three beeps.

Done painting (feel really dizzy) now. Time to bolt all of this on and move onto the next phase of mods. Thanks TW for all of the great advice and help.

Yeah came out of nowhere. @fatfurious2 and I were working on my truck earlier and it was hot as hell with no wind and not a cloud in the sky. Now looks like Odin decided to take a dump on us.

had one of those yesterday...I was out installing my blue sea 12v panel in the bed of the truck and saw the clouds in the distance, then the wind started really hard and it was hurry time. Managed to get everything wrapped up except connecting the wires under the hood and got inside just in time for the 30 mins of hammer down rain.

My winch and Factor55 goodies went on today. I may or may not have employed a plasma cutter at one point. Still have to wire it up but the heavy lifting is over.

I really didn't expect it to rain here today because I had NOTHING to paint outdoors.
