Pop n lock with alarm

I have a viper alarm system and remote start on my truck. I installed a pop n lock that ties in with the keyless entry. I installed it and went to unlock the truck and the pop n lock doesn't work. I followed the install video to a T and nothing. Could it be because of the alarm system on my truck? Any tips to get it to work?

 

Different year trucks have different colored wires. Are you positive you have the right color for your year truck?

 

It's a 2008 and I spliced the wires into the ones on the video. Blue and red and the blue and black.

 

I didn't think of the difference in years, guess all 2nd gens aren't the same. For the 2008 it's the blue and pink wire and the blue and silver wire. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll give it another try

 

According to the pop n lock site, the wires for an 08 are blue/pink striped and blue/red striped.
