Oh wow! yea he didn't seem that way at all. His first text to me was that he didn't mind coming up here at all.

I'll try not to scare him lol

Not sure. But nice rigs for sure

did the fog light mod, worked first try didn't even take ten mins.Threw some shackles off my old truck on the front i was going to get a black pair but i kinda like the silver.

i snagged two little 4 inch amber led strips ( the ones the 4 runners use in their grilles ) and im gonna play around with mounting them somewhere.
also got my winch control pack situated i think and im going to try to mount that tonight. Any locations work well for you guys? I always try to take pictures while im doing stuff but i end up getting in the zone.

I made them out of 1/8"x2" steel from home depot. I bent them up with a hammer and a vise. Those are mounted to the bed with t nuts off Amazon. I used a 3/8" bolt to mount the hi lift and quick fists for the other tools that arent here yet.

Im still scratching my head as to how the hi lift mount in the diy thread keeps the high lift far enough off the bedside. I ended up doing a 3" off set on the mount i made.

Also, lifting the truck up with the hi lift is damn near impossible with 1 person. It took two of us to get the wheels off the ground.

Green with red line is the positive for brake light. Ground is the white with black line through it. For the light in the cap, straight off the battery is the best option.

im red green color blind but i got this haha

image1(16).jpg so im going to try to use this spot to mount my controller. passenger side wheel well towards the firewall, if im feeling crafty in an hour or two and like keeping up the neighbors ill make a metal plate that i can bolt atleast two of the mounts too on this controller. if not im just going to enlarge one of the holes and put it on one of these studs, which coincidentally i have nuts for.

    image2(12).jpg
i have plenty of cable to work with so mounting it that far back shouldn't hurt

for anyone who might have the warn zeon 8 winch (non platnum) with the plug in remote still this is what i had to do when i wanted to relocate my pack, buying the extended (3ft) plug adapter helped make it fight into the supplied box for the relocation kit. The actual component that sits inside really only hangs out up front, which is why i think i can get away with just hard mounting the two tonight.

if anyone has any reason why i shouldnt mount it here let me know im about to whip up some dinner and then put this on.

Ahaha good luck. IIRC there are three wires. One white/black, one green/red, and one solid green. If you can differentiate between green/red and solid green, you should be good.
