so I have a set of TC bed stiffeners on order... does it make sense to have someone throw a blob of weld over the holes that the OEM bed extender will leave? Or like, a rattle can and some rubber plugs?

In other news getting shitfaced and watching it rain is fun.

Went up to Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon yesterday for a hike on West Fork...

Got rained on hard but it was still awesome.

I was SOAKED in that pic!

West Fork isn't a hard trail but the scenery is fucking bomb.

I even took a photo of a butterfly on a thistle for ya, Duke!

I've got to take the truck in to get the a.c. blower motor fixed. When I turn it on the first two speeds are ok but when it goes to three and four there is a loud clunking/rattling noise. I don't want to deal with those guys at the superstition springs dealership. Any recommendations on a good service department?

    Not enough
I've spent about 8 years of my life working at different dealerships two dealerships were Power Toyota and Big 2 Toyota/Scion. Two master certified techs that I worked with opened up their own shop ToyoTekAZ. Personally I would not take my vehicle to a dealership ever again and usually tell people to find a good mom and pop shop. I have seen how people get screwed over more then I like, which is why I quit automotive and now work at a large electronics company.
The point is though these two guys Gary and Bob started their own shop ToyoTekAZ, I've known them for many years and are 2 guys I would trust with my truck for any issue.

Gonna have to remember them once the warranty runs out on my '16.

I hear you on the mom & pop shop thing, that's one of the big downsides I'm feeling from moving cross country, I can't feasibly get to my paint guy or my mechanic anymore. Both places I developed a relationship with, to the point where they got a plate of my mom's homemade cookies and a case of beer come Christmas time. :p

In other news, my Total Chaos goodies arrived today with a pile of stickers inside! And if there's any way to my heart, it's through free stickers.

Just build a workshop out back and get a hydraulic lift. That should be good.
