This is my first full summer here. When does it end? I was here last September when it was mid-90s and the locals were like "Ah, yeah, it's getting really nice this time of year."

Yay! I come from the mountain west, so this is very different. Although I've spent some time in the South Pacific, which is humid as can be, it never seems to rain here. Only 7 months ago my navitron weather app said the "feels like" was -37f. At least my Taco will never be a solid block of ice again.

Yea, it feels like we're located 3 miles away from the Sun!

Just chill out, grab a cool beer (drink) stay in an air-condition climate, etc. I would say dive in a pool or river but around here once the temperature reaches the high 90's an beyond even the water in the pools, rivers, etc. start to get warm!

Trying to. Had to move shit all yesterday so that was fun. You know it's hot when the temp gauge on your grill is rising before you even apply heat.

I have a HUGE favor to ask of you guys!

I'm currently in the application process for the San Antonio Fire Department and tomorrow I'm flying out to do a mandatory timed practice run of the physical fitness test. I don't have anybody to pick me up from the airport.

My sister is also flying in with me.

Would anybody please be able to pick us up at the airport?

I don't have any spare monies for gas. : (

    If nobody can't, I understand. : )

Sorry, didn't see this until today. Tough to ask for time sensitive stuff in here. Doesn't really get enough traffic to get a good response.
