My take.....you need to grind some more to clearance for steering. According to Proforce it's the stock spindle adapter that is limiting the steering not the double shears on the Maxtrac spindles. That spindle adapter sits in the same spot on the lca....only possible difference is maybe the misalignment adapter that the uniball sits on is a different height than LTDSC has??? Hard to tell from the pics. Just throwin shit out there....not trying to debate with others opinions.

This is what im seeing. I totally get why some are saying its the spindle, but the parts thats actually hitting is not the spindle and wont change positions no matter what spindle is there. You can take it off the truck without a spindle and itll stll not turn all the way. I guess a little grinding it is. @Airdog i know you have TC lowers and Maxtrax spindles and yours works just fine right? I know your lower has its own steering adapter part but it mimics the oem piece though.

Ah ok...didnt realize you are the one he bought it from. ive got the non race TC LCA and Maxtracs and had to jump thru a couple of hoops to get mine to work. Had to make some spacers to take up the space between the uniball plate and the double shears.
    Like this

Still had problems with the bolt heads and the built in steering stops....so I ended up getting some bolts with a lower profile head on them and all was good. Guess it may have been a good thing that I didnt buy the race series.
Thing is TC makes lift spindles with double shears also....I would think these should work just fine.

Gonna go to alignment shop first thing in the morning and see what happens after that. I flexed out on a curb and got an extra 180° out of the steering wheel. Im only short maybe 1/4" of clearance on the front and rear, if the alignment doesnt help and TC tells me everything is right and it is in fact my spindles, ill take to the grinder and see what i can get. If worst comes to worse, ill either resell them and find the non race series ones that @Airdog has because i know they work or ill see what it would take to make a small notch on the lower and reweld. But thats all worst case. Ill keep everyone posted

You don't like extra rubbing in unnessassery places...jk

My lt kit is the older style 3.5
I have those uniball plates like toms but I'm on stock spindles still.
If i where you id see if there's anything that can be done to make what you have now work then if it's not gonna happen jump to the old style lowers

All you're going to loose the most is time but if they work then they will be great!!

The alignment is not the issue it's the ball joint adapter. I'd take it out and grind more off of it. It doesn't currently look like the spindles are making contact. It won't take much to get the steering back. Since the stops are so close to the pivot point you'd be suprised how far a little more grinding will go

Thanks. This is what im thinking. Maybe 1/8th in on each side of the adapter for 1/4" total. Thats about all the room thats left to grind. If that doesnt help and it rrally comes down to last resorts do you think it would hurt to take a 1/4" notch out of the lca and reweld it?

Luckily this alignment tech is really good! He has an FJ with Icon and AllPro up front, all the other goodies winch, bumpers, snorkel etc. So he's got this down. Ive never been able to get my caster higher then 2.5 on each side and right now im at 4.1/3.8which is freaking phenomenal. The lowers added a degree i think.
