I really wanted to host a mod day but I haven't accumulated what I wanted to. I recently bought a Uniden CB but don't have the firestick, mount or even the wires necessary. Yesterday I bought a Sony Xplode sub speaker but don't have the amp or the wires yet, and today bringing home my new-ish wheels but need new tires.

Yeah, I try to creep all the VA threads. If the opportunity strikes me i have no issue driving to the parts around here, either for meets or if I am picking up parts that I purchased from another user.

Jealous? Nah. I visit the NOVA thread, and any others where I may find useful bits of information. I'm a creeper too....

I creep the Northeast region threads. Can't really say I'm creeping the NoVA thread anymore, since I'm actively posting in it.

I've got a bunch of mods coming in as well, but not room here for mod days.

Considering you were involved with my LT, you would be one of two most experienced guys in the install from this area. I can try to help a little too.

From what I was to understand it's a bumper but I'm up for other stuff if I'm not camping. Remember though I'm still working pretty much with 1 arm but that doesn't mean I can't do it and thanks for the vote of confidence

Thanks. It's both a bumper and long travel, @Casper66

I'm hoping I'll get the bumper shipping notice this week. Monday starts week 5, since I ordered, and the lady that took my order said it would be about a month. I also called Monday last week and was told it was in the shipping department being processed for shipment. I imagine that I'll hear something on the LT kit next week as that was supposed to be about a 3 week lead time, and I paid my deposit on the 10th.

Only need one arm to point, drink a beer, jerk off, obviously not at the same time though.

Te bumper I can help with. Th lt kit not so much I have no welder and there is quite a bit of weldeing to do if it's a kit like Coot's. I feel I know you well enough by now but I have t ask ae you doing glass fenders? If so how are you going to know if the bumper will like up correctly? I know you tend to be on top of rsearching everything just curious

Since he is going with a 2+ kit, he may not need glass fenders as he can likely trim them. Also if he isnt bombing trails then he can wait to do that prior to his first real outing. With him being a prerunner as well, no madness with axles like mine was. It could be a lot easier of an install than mine although he will still have to mess with the LCA/UCA install as well as extended brake lines.

You still have the same welding to do with the alignment tabs, and limitting straps I'm not equipped for that

True, but thats also assuming he is going to do cam tabs with his install. Worst case he could roll a few weeks without getting the limit straps on. Just dont send anything in the mean time if he does.
