Do you have a build page? I would like to follow to see how you did it with manual hubs. When I converted I went with the ADD set up.

    What a weekend..
Thought I could get the whole suspension done but some bolts can screw you.
Yesterday did the drivers side (lbj, inner and outer tie rod, strut and coil). Tie rods were super easy, lbj was alright, then the fucking coil. Was going to do the way where you dont need a spring compressor but what do you know? The stupid spacer I put on years ago covers the top bolt. Rented a spring compressor got that side done. Wasn't enough time to do the ubj and other side.

Today was going to be great and get the passenger side and back done. Well a Gorilla lock lugnut was stuck (torqued too much from Discount) the key broke to get it off, and took forever to get off. Again lbj and tie rods werent bad and was going smooth until after I took the spring assembly off. The top bolt was fused to the top. Had to cut that fucker off. Got everything together and wasn't enough time to do the ubjs on both side (didn't want to deal with other tools) or the back. Sucks when you don't have the right tools.. means two bolts take hours to get off and ruins your days plan!

Can see the yellow of OME

Can't wait to do the back! Also next time I do suspension... I am going to buy it assembled

I think several first gen owners, myself included, would be interested in your review of these.

    oil & filter changes.
Fate was fighting me today. Couldn't get the filter off the Prius, finally gave up & changed the oil but not the filter. I'll consider it a quick rinse change & revisit soon, especially as I found it's drain plug gasket when cleaning the drain pan afterwards - so no filter & no d.p. gasket - overall a fail on the Prius.
Tacoma came with an oil change sticker saying it's due in 2015. Hmmm. Ran seafoam in the oil for a couple of trips. Changed the oil with no issues, but this oil filter also would not come off. So many bits in the way to get to it. Very frustrated after the Prius fail, I gave up on the Tacoma filter change too. later in a moment of calm when it was ready to be refilled I went at the filter one more time - from the rear. AH HA! Acres of access to the filter when you come at it from under the cab. Filter changed! Filter managed to spew oil over everything, but that's rustproofing so it's okay. Dripping in success, cut the lawn under dark gray rain clouds - they held off.

Guess I forced a reset as the fates finally stopped working against me. This Tacoma is going to be a good partner.

I hate the location of the filter. Hoping to relocate it soon so I don't have to drop my skid every time to get to it.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
4 cyl filter is easy compared to the 5vz. But I have long arms so I just reach up over the steering rack and unscrew it.
