@At The Helm shipped directions with them. there is a paper in the package. If not its real simple, bolt it to the bed with the bed bolt and d-ring make sure it is tight to the bed side and snug it up then make sure its plum going up the bedside and mark your holes, drill them and bolt everything down.

You do have to trim the "bottom" where it contacts the two hinges that allow the lid to raise, but other than that I think it's great for $11.

 

Is this from the grid portion on underneath the arm rest itself?

 

Just the bottom of the actual grid. I only cut 2 small sections about 1/2" wide and 1/2" into the grid where they line up with the hinges.

It does.

Not as bad as you think.

It's supposed to match the chin on the OEM bumper I think, but I'm not sure why you'd want to. Unless it's supposed to help when ramming lesser vehicles and Occupy weenies.
