    Chris, I hope you guys are getting some good ideas on the little trailer. I see a lot more traffic on the teardrop and squaredrop pages. Some pretty cool stuff happening. And the more I think about it, I'm almost tempted to go with a mostly steel construction. Just seems like it would be a cool project...if nothing else, heavy.

    Yes it is. There is a thermometer probe that I attach to the grate and the computer controller will control the fan. It can detect when the lid is off, etc. and is very consistent. Also has probes for up to 3 meat sources but those are just for monitoring. And your target in the end of course.
