5vz is simple to take the oil filter off. Just reach right in through the driver's side splash guard. The 4cl must be a PITA!

The oil filter on my 2.7l is in the passenger side splash guard, is it any different other than the side?

Got the new rear suspension in. Dakars, 9" 5125's, Wheeler's super bumps All Pro Axle relocation plates going 3/4" back, and still using my greasable main eye bolt and daystar 1.25" lift shackles. Finally have rake again. Shackle angle isn't where ideal, waiting to see where it will land when the leaves settle. Might go to my shorter OEM shackle I have lying around or the OME greasable. Also considering pulling an overload. We'll see.

May not be the cleanest way but if your dealing w/ a stuck filter. Take a long punch or metal rod and punch it throughthe side of the filter and turn. More leverage goes a long way

Looks like you run with a good crew. My dogs, especially my 4-yo female, would love that much open space. World's biggest dog park.

Yeah, I've got 200 back there all the time, and another couple hundred on trips or when hauling stuff around town. Plus, I know that eventually I'm going to want that rear swingout so I figured better to do this once :)

Mine still handle a bunch of weight, 1100 pounds of water puts about 1" squatted.

They sure are nice for hauling stuff around.

woow.... , Thanks for the video , what category of off road is that park?

What I mean if are the OR parks has any kind of levels ( basic\ mid\ adv\ extreme... )
without a lift I will not adventure that road, quite of tall rocks ... kudos

I guess an stock bone TRD can't handle that without rock sliders to prevent body damage, probably just basic \ easy off roads.

By the way , just curious because I had never adventure anywhere in 4WD  yet.

That was what they consider moderate, there were stock trucks there, see the map below

It's a park for everybody really. 2wds can rip around there dirt track, then there are trails from easy, moderate, difficult and then buggy only so

Got my new wheels mounted this morning. Couldn't be happier with how everything has turned out so far. This truck has come a long way since being bone stock in march.

Whoa! Those wheels look pretty damn good on a 1st gen. Are you running spacers? And do you have manual hubs under the center caps?
