I always just spring for the craftsman 3.5 or 4 ton guys... I'd rather have basic and way over spec than any aluminum or whatever. I don't play around with something I'm sticking myself under.

Heck I do over spec jack stands AND I use the "tires under the frame rail" failsafe trick too.

I like where your head is at but that is not currently feasible.

I took mine there for the same thing last week. It's a known problem, the cheap plastic fan was cracked. They gave me a rental for a day while they tracked down the part. It's an easy fix, you can pull the cabin filter and see the cracked fan piece.

Your buggy doesn't burn sadly haha

Genuinely thousands of times. Especially after this regear.

"Is that my MPG or voltage" goes through my mind often

Anyone have any interest in a BAMF shock relocation kit for a second gen? I quickly realized my rear suspension can't keep up with the new LT front and probably gonna go with a sua kit in the next month or so.

Well the jungle gym could be melted down and recycled

You think you can cut that off the frame without taking too much material?

In other news I may or may not have spent 50$ on violent little machine shop

@snowsk8air2 got the 650# coils swapped in! The ride is so much better. Just need to replace the spherical bearings and misalignment's in the lower eyelet.

I know of two people that have pulled them off in salvageable condition. So if someone was interested I'd do my best to do the same. Lower shock mounts would be a total loss but they are cheap to get new ones.

Glad you like em. Did you have to put much preload on them?

Fuck me. Replace dead battery with an Optima yellow top. Walk out in the pouring rain today, truck doesn't turn over. Jumps, but then won't turn over after it dies.

    Alternator??

I'm about an 1-1/8" on the driver, and just under an inch on the passenger. might add a tad more to dial in to perfect, but so far its fantastic!

Perfect! And way better than worrying about coil bind with 3" of preload on the lighter springs.

Can you read voltage when running? Scangauge, ultragauge etc? Otherwise just drive to Autozone and have it tested

Yeah got it started again (3rd time in the rain.... one of them days....), other thing I noticed is that I jump if and it's good, bit as soon as I drive, the radio reboots....
