    That's the one, we did have that nice view of it from the ridge to the right though, which was pretty cool. That obstacle is now the gauge of my trucks capability, need a tummy tuck before retrying. Brett probably would have made it with out a t-case cross-member and skid, which he didn't have when he made it up when we all tried it and you popped that tire.

    I know some people that work NPS down there. They said its too much for anything other than a crawler

    Looks like a great trip! Bummed I missed out. But I did find that my exhaust valves need to be reshimmed.

    just start from the East side, camp and return the same way. only thing you'll miss from West side to the 4th creek crossing is sand! plus much less of a drive than going all the way south and around the mountain.
    it's the only way I'm going now since I usually take my trailer and it got me stuck in the sand :ballchain:

    Glad it wasn't a zoo (As has been my experience several times), wonder how much Cotton Wood being closed is effecting this.
