A man can have aspirations haha. I have only owned one car I never modded (not a single thing) and that was my GTI. I have the capacity but typically lack the self control.

It's amazing, what we would make us stop in our tracks can be seen all over Cali such that noone stops to look.
We need fabricators that make long travel kits in the east coast. We also need a desert to race on. My vote is SC.

 

but how many MUD trucks or "Monster" trucks do you see in Cali ? The mentality desire and function drive the market. very few if any places to utilize a wide track suspension built for speed. @mrbedgood truck would destroy itself trying to do Uwharrie or AOP at speed, as would the truck seen above.

IFS/IRS is becoming a thing in competition vehicles ( and winning) King of the Hammers has fielded several the last few years

$$$$ is the driving force, the market isn't really there on the east coast (unfortunately)

I realize y'all probably won't share the sentiment, but it's nice being able to leave my surf board in the truck and knowing that it won't grow legs and walk away while I'm at work or in a store or whatever like it can in the bed of a truck.

 

Wait... now there is an idea. I can use surf boards to hold up my air mattress, dump the heavy and otherwise useless plywood.

Although you could argue that the surf board is use less under me in water.
